Ucrania firma varios acuerdos de cooperación energética con empresas de EEUU

El Ministerio de Energía de Ucrania y su empresa pública gasística y petrolera, Naftogaz, han firmado varios acuerdos de cooperación con empresas del sector de Estados Unidos, informó en sus redes sociales este miércoles el ministro ucraniano del ramo, Denís Shmigal.

Uno de los acuerdos, firmado por el ministerio con la empresa estadounidense Aspect Holdings, "facilitará la inversión en el desarrollo de los hidrocarburos" en Ucrania, según Shimgal.

El ministro ha informado asimismo de acuerdos de cooperación de Naftogaz con las compañías estadounidenses especializadas en equipamiento de generación de energía Solar Turbines y Baker Hughes.

Naftogaz también ha suscrito un memorando con el Instituto Estadounidense del Petróleo para compartir experiencias y buenas prácticas en los campos del petróleo y el gas.

La cooperación energética de Ucrania

También este miércoles, la primera ministra ucraniana, Yulia Sviridenko, presentó ante la Plataforma de Donantes de Ucrania -establecida por el G7 para coordinar la ayuda al país- proyectos desarrollados por Kiev para reforzar su sistema energético de cara a los próximos inviernos y valorados en con 5.400 millones de euros.

Sviridenko ha explicado que Ucrania espera que los donantes internacionales cubran una parte de este monto.

El sistema energético ucraniano está expuesto a los ataques constantes de Rusia, que ha destruido con misiles y drones buena parte de la capacidad de generación eléctrica de Ucrania.
